THE HEADLINES AT 1900 EVE ON MONDAY 4TH OF JUNE
NER News at 7 o’clock. This is Hugh Caswakk. Good evening.
Tensions are rising in the east, with three battles across Tenerifis, Immensea and Feythabolis, between Legacy Coalition and assorted eastern powers. NER believes that the situation is escalating towards a general war.
There has been a set of significant brawls across Stain between Good Sax and the combined force of Scourge and DEAD HAND.
Interhole Revenue Service, a principal corporation in wormhole space, has undergone a dramatic failure cascade.
SIGNIFICANT CONFLICT BETWEEN LEGACY AND EASTERN POWERS; GENERAL WAR BELIEVED CLOSE
Over the past few days, there have been three key fights between assorted eastern powers and Legacy, with Legacy winning two of them and the eastern powers winning one.
The first such engagement took place in the system of QE-E1D, at 21:41 EVE on the 2nd June. This battle took place over a station, with Legacy attempting to secure it for XiX. This effort was repulsed by local groups CentipedeCaliphate and Wormageddon, with the support of a strong reinforcement fleet from TRUMPY MC. Go here for more detailed coverage on the action, from NER reporter Salivan Harddin.
The toll is 10.18bn lost by TRUMPY MC and allies, vs 16.87bn lost by Legacy.
The second engagement was in the early hours of June 3rd, in the systems of D6SK-L and 0OYZ-G, in Feythabolis, between WinterCo and Legacy forces. WinterCo brought a 125-pilot Eagle doctrine fleet, vs. a 164-pilot Nightmare doctrine fleet from Legacy. The battle started with light elements of the Legacy fleet fighting to locate and pin down the enemy. Several Legacy interceptors and interdictors were lost at 0520 doing this. However, they managed to tackle the WinterCo fleet long enough for the Nightmares to arrive and begin fighting.
When the smoke cleared, the toll stood at 1.15bn lost by Legacy, vs. 17.3bn lost by Winter Coalition.
The third engagement was in the system of E-PR0S, also in Feythabolis, between 2037 and 2101 on the 3rd of June. A Kids With Guns (KWG), a Legacy renter, Fortizar was anchoring when it was attacked by a 67-pilot Sleipner/Loki fleet from Hard Knocks. Legacy flash-formed a 118-pilot Hurricane fleet and caught the wormholers at close range, inflicting heavy losses.
When the smoke cleared, Legacy lost 2.54bn ISK, vs 25.51bn ISK lost by Hard Knocks. Reports from the scene indicate that Vily, the Legacy FC, was quite pleased.
These actions point towards growing tension between Legacy Coalition, returning from their Providence deployment, and the different Eastern powers. Anonymous sources with knowledge of the situation have suggested that a general war between Legacy and these groups is likely going to happen soon. Even without these sources, the growing number and scale of the battles in the area are indicative of incipient conflict.
CLASH IN STAIN BETWEEN GOOD SAX AND SCOURGE & DEAD HAND
In a running battle over the evening of the 2nd of June, Good Sax clashed with Scourge and DEAD HAND forces in the systems of W-VXL9, 42-UOW, and 6QBH-S, in the region of Stain. The elaborate action broke out over the defense of the final timer of a Good Sax Azbel, with DEAD HAND being reinforced by Scourge in efforts to take it. Read the battle report from Salivan Harddin here.
INTERHOLE REVENUE SERVICE COLLAPSES AMID COUP DRAMA
This news item is particularly shaky; assistance would be appreciated.
Interhole Revenue Service, a key part of ShekelSquad, has collapsed as erstwhile CEO Steel Roamer has stolen ISK from corp hangars and unanchored the corporation staging Fortizar.
It appears that this grievance dates back to the aftermath of the eviction of POS Party from their wormhole by a combined force of wormholers. The CEO of IRS, Steel Roamer, was asked to step aside from his position. He did so but kept a majority of shares under his control. A pilot by the name of Vickor Pvolman was promoted into the CEO position.
For reasons currently unknown to NER, there was significant drama a few weeks ago. This prompted Viktor to start planning a coup, with some other directors. Though all corp assets were still under the control of Steel Roamer, the plotters believed the task possible. However, they were found out, and Viktor was forced to leave.
This caused significant controversy, which appears to have been permanently settled by Steel Roamer taking large portions of the corp budget and assets. More on this story as it develops.
AND NOW FOR THE NEWS WHERE YOU ARE
The key system of Anchauttes, formerly owned by the Caldari Militia, has fallen to Galmil forces in a running battle from ~1130 on the 3rd of June to ~1700 on the 4th. Despite the significant number of ships lost, many were frigates, meaning that the toll stands at 2.82bn lost by Galmil vs 4.97bn lost by Calmil. Various small groups of third partiers lost 3.77bn ISK.
BATTLE BETWEEN ETHERIUM BREACH COALITION AND SNUFFED OUT IN ETHERIUM REACH
There is ongoing fighting in the BNX constellation in Etherium Reach over several outposts there between the Unspoken Alliance-led Etherium Breach coalition and Snuffed Out. Last information received before writing indicated that Snuffed Out was winning the engagement.
USHRA’KHAN TAKES STATION IN 9UY4-H
Ushra’Khan, a storied alliance of Minmatar roleplayers, has taken an outpost in the Providence system of 9UY4-H. This is their birthplace as an alliance. Anonymous sources have informed NER that this was done at the agreement of BRAVE – but not at the agreement of TEST. This may pose diplomatic problems.
For now, that’s how it is in New Eden. Good night.

Due to incipient exams, corrections will have to wait until 1000 EVE on the 5th of June to be serviced. I will read and deal with them appropriately, though.
