FIRST ‘MOREAU’ FORTIZAR DOWNED IN TENERIFIS

Following the recent outpost and station conversion to faction citadels, all conquerable stations have been converted into ‘Moreau’ Fortizars. The first ‘Moreau’ fortizar destroyed in-game occurred at 0301 Eve time on the 17th July. The TEST owned fortizar appears to have been destroyed uncontested.

TQ DOWN TUESDAY 17th PLUS DISCORD INSTABILITY

Following numerous reports of login issues, crashes, desyncs, and lag over the last week, Tranquility went offline at approx 14.20 UTC and was restored at 1552. CCP Falcon posted a thread monitoring the outage and confirmed 25,000 players had been disconnected from the servers. He recently confirmed that the server instability is under investigation by CCP and we should see some further communication in the upcoming weeks.

Discord – used by many corps and alliances for ping notifications/chat – has also been glitching in the last few days. At the point of writing the service has crashed in the last hour. Discord status reports and Twitter indicate that Discord devs have identified the problem, which is now under investigation.

AND NOW FOR THE NEWS WHERE YOU ARE

NORTH-WESTERN

SKIRMISHING CONTINUES IN PURE BIND & FADE

The north-western front involving the Imperium vs Circle-of-Two, Guardians of the Galaxy and allies remains highly active with multiple structures being reinforced. This activity is generating frequent skirmishes between the parties, with losses and victories spread between the combatants.

Circle-of-Two capital staging – home to the recently contested keepstar – was attacked on Monday 16th, putting the i-hub into reinforce.

SOUTHERN

VENDETTA KILLED IN CATCH

On Sunday 15th at 17.56 Evetime TEST alliance destroyed a Vendetta in 36N-HZ, Catch. This faction supercarrier is only the eighth of its kind destroyed in-game. Reports indicate that the pilot was restaging the super, docked in a friendly keepstar then changed corps. Upon undocking, he showed in local as neutral and was unable to redock. The pilot appears to have subsequently biomassed.

For now, that’s how it is in New Eden. Good night.

Corrections
The article originally stated: The Imperial Legacy pilots fielded a mix of subcapital doctrines, with the TEST in Feroxes supported by Ishtar, Munnin, Cerberus and Jackdaw fleets.
Reports indicate the Legacy & allies subcap fleet lost many ships in the engagement, although the losses do not represent a substantial ISK loss due to doctrine choice.
This is an error based on a partial battlereport. Thanks to aparker314159 thirdsin Bamboozle_ and meowtiger for the corrections.
Edited to state: The Imperial Legacy pilots fielded a mix of subcapital doctrines, with TEST in Harpys and Muninns, Brave in Cerberus’ initially, XIX in Ishtars and Goons in Jackdaws. Brave reshipped to Feroxes after their Cerb fleet took heavy losses.
The losses taken by the Legacy fleets amount to around 75b in HACs with high numbers of the Ferox fleet killed.
