PERIMETER STRUCTURES CONTINUE TO GENERATE BRAWLS
Following our earlier report of a structure contest between TEST, Pandemic Horde and various parties in highsec, the Perimeter system in The Forge continues to draw activity. At the time of writing TEST have 39 active wardecs and Horde have 21.
The following structures have been destroyed this week:
- 19th Azbel – owned by InterstelIar Hauling Consortium, destroyed by TEST
- 19th Azbel – owned by Starline Freight, destroyed by TEST
- 20th Raitaru – owned by Yamato 460mm, destroyed by Wrecking Machine
- 20th Azbel – owned by InterstelIar Hauling Consortium, destroyed by TEST
- 22nd Azbel – owned by InterstelIar Hauling Consortium, destroyed by TEST
- 22nd Tatara – owned by Tranquility Trading Trust (TEST’s highsec structure alliance), destroyed by Mr. Clean Corp
- 22nd Raitaru – owned by Soviet Space, destroyed by a small mixed gang
Whilst some of these structures are likely to be unrelated to TEST’s activity in system (given the proximity to Jita, this system is known for structure spam) the area continues to generate brawls between multiple parties. The destruction of the TEST owned Tatara, which was reportedly fit with a rig valued at approx 50b ISK, indicates that the campaign is not entirely one-sided. The corporation responsible for the destruction of the structure has IChooseYou as CEO, who has been contesting the TEST takeover of the Perimeter structure market. Comments from TEST leadership confirm that the Tatara was lost due to an error made when issuing wardecs.
The TTT Keepstar was also reinforced this week and TEST attended the system in numbers on Saturday the 24th. The Keepstar successfully repaired without incident.
BLOODBATH IN ETHERIUM REACH
On the 24th of November at approx 2000 UTC, skirmishing broke out over the timer for an athanor in the system of T-IDGH. Etherium Breach coalition (Unspoken, Outspoken, Just a Game) were joined by Scourge to take on a collective force of Prothean Alliance, No Value, and Brothers of Tangra.
The attackers brought a Maelstrom fleet to contest the final timer and the defenders countered with a Loki fleet. In an attempt to get under the attackers guns, the Unspoken fleet warped to 30km, at which point they sustained heavy sub cap losses, and were unable to break the Maelstroms or webbing ships. The attackers then escalated, bringing in FAX support, at which point the battle degenerated to a cap brawl, with both sides committing dreads to the scene. The athanor seemed to be saved with 3% structure remaining, until No Value bridged in additional tornadoes approximately 10 minutes later and killed the structure. The toll stands at over 120b ISK destroyed, with the attackers losing nearly 71b ISK to the defenders 50b.
The Quiet War, which NER reported on during the summer, remains active. No Value have become a dominant power in the region, due to Prothean Alliance struggles after months of being in a war of attrition. NER will keep you updated as developments arise in The Quiet War.
PURE BLIND BRAWL
Snuffed Out have anchored a fortizar in the Mantenault system and additional structures in the Federation Uprising held constellation in Pure Blind. Several astrahus exited their anchoring timer at around 1900 on Sunday 25th with fighting anticipated between Iron Fwedderation and allies vs Snuffed Out and allies. A battle report received at the point of writing shows nearly 500 in attendance, with Snuff taking damages of over 80b, including 3 astrahus. NER will follow up this battle in more detail in the next 1900 report.
BOMBERS BAR DESTROY 94B IN DELVE
On Monday 19th at around 2100 UTC Bombers Bar – an NPSI public fleet group known for their nullsec roams – destroyed 94b in Delve. This activity targeted Imperium members whilst the attention was focused on the H-5GUI Keepstar battle in Vale of the Silent. As reported to NER, the Imperium losses in Delve exceeded their losses sustained during the H-5 Keepstar battle.
SKIRMISHING IN DEKLEIN
On Thursday 22nd at 0500 UTC Guardians of the Galaxy engaged with Black Legion and Pandemic Horde forces in Deklein. According to reports, the defenders called in Imperium forces to engage the attackers whilst GoTG destroyed a Black Legion fortizar in an adjacent system.
MERCENARY COALITION CORPS TO FOUND A NEW ALLIANCE
Following the recent announcement that Mercenary Coalition will be disbanding, member corporations continue their exit to new groups. Coreli Corporation have followed Black Omega Security and Body Count Inc to Pandemic Legion. Roving Guns Inc are understood to be forming an alliance with NOVOS and Licence To Kill, known as Licence to Roam.
THE WAR FOR RANCER
On Thursday the 22nd, a report was posted to reddit detailing a series of battles between lowsec groups over the infamous Rancer system in Sinq Laison. The participants are Shoot First and Rancer Customs Control Group, with appearances from other entities such as Snuffed Out.*
